"B.C.'s Biggest Sidewalk Sale". Wednesday Farmer's Market showcases local produce and competitions. Thursday is the
Community Carnivál event sponsored by United Way. Friday sidewalk sales and street entertainment of all sorts are the order of the day. Great restaurants also showcase their culinary talents during Taste of the Downtown. Saturday is huge! 200 block of Victoria Street is closed for the Business/Artisans street trade fair and the Community Stage provides entertainment with dancers, musicians, theatrical groups and a fashion show. The Buskers Showdown runs from 10am to 4pm with street performers and musicians vying for prize money and bragging rights.
